About Me

Hello Everyone,
One day, about 20 years ago, I found myself thinking about what would be the perfect job for me. Sitting on the beach with an umbrella drink in my hand was already taken. Then, thinking about it a bit more, I realized that traveling around the world helping people would be awesome. I would be a free spirit with a backpack and guitar, wandering and looking for where I can make a positive difference in this world. There was one issue with that thought. The issue was that I didn’t think my wife and children would agree with that lifestyle. I didn’t bother asking them.
After a period of quiet reflection, I realized something. I was already helping people every day. I was (and still am) working for a machine tool manufacturer, assisting people in repairing machines and supervising a crew doing the same thing. At the time of this realization, I was traveling all around the world. Once I realized that what I am currently doing is what I had always dreamed of doing, I felt I was on the right course in life.
My name is Jason Schepers, and I have been working in the customer service industry for over 30 years. I have worked with a diverse range of personalities, varying levels of customer dissatisfaction, and individuals with extremely high expectations. When working with people like this, there is not one method to use. The techniques used are unique to every customer.
Recently celebrating 30 years in this field, I have decided to share the lessons I’ve learned and my experiences with others. I aim to achieve this through open communication, blogging, and discussions. Most of what we discuss and learn can also be applied in our daily lives when interacting with friends, family, co-workers, and strangers.
Please join me.
Jason.
